On Friday 29th April Ms Jordan’s class launched their book – “Sam’s Sweet Adeventure”. The book, which they had been working on since January was a collaborative effort by all of the pupils in the class. The whole process was very enjoyable and proved a great learning experience for all. In conjunction with World Book Day the class had researched tips from established authors which they then incorporated into their book. Ms Jordan and the children were very proud of the result and each child illustrated their own copy of the book. Thanks to all parents who attended the launch. Everybody present enjoyed listening to the pupils who read from the book and explained the process of drafting, editing and creating Sam’s Sweet Adventure! Great work by the budding authors in 2nd and 3rd class and thanks to Ms Jordan for stimulating the childrens’ interest in the world of literature!
